Jomtemu Case Study: Affordable Zoom Meetings for Businesses

As online meetings became part of everyday work, many businesses found premium video-conferencing plans expensive. Jomtemu, however, offered a more affordable route.
Context
Jomtemu is a cloud meeting management consultant in Malaysia. With the rise of online meetings, it saw a need to run webinars and large-scale conferences smoothly through Zoom.
So its answer was a subscription-based service. In practice, Jomtemu hosts premium Zoom meetings for companies at a lower price than Zoom's own premium rate. To make that model work, a website that only described the service wasn't enough. Instead, it needed one that could sell plans and deliver the service.
Goals
- Reach companies that need reliable, large-scale online meetings.
- List Jomtemu's services and pricing plans clearly.
- Let customers buy and manage subscriptions themselves.
- Enable customers to schedule Zoom meetings and host webinars through Jomtemu.
- Encourage word-of-mouth growth through referrals.
Our approach
Jomtemu's website had to play two roles. For new visitors, it was a sales page that explains the offer and the price. For subscribers, it was the place where they actually run their meetings.
Combining those roles also reduces friction. As a result, a customer can go from comparing plans to hosting a meeting without switching between systems. Our UI and UX design work kept both journeys short and clear.
We also looked at growth. A subscription service grows faster when happy customers bring in others. Therefore, rewarding referrals automatically became part of the build.
Execution
Our web development team delivered the following.
Service and pricing pages
We developed a website that lists Jomtemu's services and displays its pricing plans. Visitors can then compare options and choose the plan that suits their organisation.
Subscription purchase and management
Customers can buy a plan directly on the site. Afterwards, they manage their subscription from the same place.
Zoom API integration
We integrated the Zoom API, which sits at the heart of Jomtemu's operations. Through it, customers can arrange virtual Zoom meetings for up to 500 pax. They can also host webinars directly from the Jomtemu website.
Automated referral rewards
For every referral a customer brings in, an automated system gives them cashback on their package. Consequently, the more people they refer, the cheaper their online meeting subscription becomes.
Outcome
Jomtemu now has a website that sells, delivers and grows its service. Companies can subscribe online, then schedule Zoom meetings for up to 500 participants or host webinars from the same site. Meanwhile, automated cashback rewards customers who spread the word.
Key takeaways from the Jomtemu case study
- Let your website deliver the service, not just sell it. Integrating the Zoom API kept customers on Jomtemu's own platform.
- Use existing platforms through their APIs. Because it built on Zoom, Jomtemu could focus on pricing and service rather than video technology.
- Self-service subscriptions save admin time. That way, customers buy and manage plans without contacting staff.
- Automate referral rewards. Cashback that applies itself encourages customers to recommend you, with no manual tracking.
