The portfolio shows how our work looks. These case studies, by contrast, explain how it works. They cover four kinds of projects that businesses in Malaysia and overseas ask us to build.

• Mobile apps. On-demand platforms such as Folo's food and parcel delivery service and Lazy's home-cleaning bookings in Hong Kong. Both also connect several user groups, each with its own app.
• Web platforms. Directories, communities and subscription sites, including Bridalgram's wedding vendor directory and Jomtemu's Zoom meeting service.
• E-commerce. Online marketplaces and stores, from Prangin Mall's multi-retailer marketplace to HTM Pharmacy's inventory sync across more than 20 outlets.
• Business systems. Internal tools that replace manual work, such as the cost estimation, attendance and reporting system we built for Fujimura in Japan.

Some projects also include ongoing content work. For Foodcrush and Rasa Malaysia, for example, we paired the build with social media and video.

Every project starts with the business, not the technology. Before we design a screen, we want to understand who will use the product and what they need from it. Next, we look at what has to happen behind the scenes for it to work.

That first step usually reveals more than one type of user. A delivery service, for instance, serves customers, riders and merchants, and each one needs a different experience. We design for each group separately, then connect them through a shared system and an admin dashboard.

From there, our UI and UX design team maps the journeys. Our developers then build them as mobile apps, websites and web platforms. Because design, development and marketing sit within one team, launch content can be planned alongside the build.
