Urban Space Website Design: A Playful Site for a Creative Coworking Space

Urban Space is a creative coworking space offering dedicated desks in the city of Kota Kinabalu. Coworking is a crowded market, so the brand needed a website with personality. At the same time, visitors had to compare packages and enquire without friction.

So Urban Space asked us for a complete website build and the creative UI and UX design.

An identity that becomes the interface

The Urban Space logo swaps the letter A for an arched doorway. So we made that arch the centre of the design. On the homepage, a single dark arch stands between the words "Urban" and "Space", while outlined lettering drifts behind. The palette also stays warm and earthy, with sand, charcoal and white throughout.

A little fun on the about page

The about section lines up four arched doorways. Each one has its own speech bubble: "Hey There!", "Hover Here!", "Surprise!" and "Come Here!". The page invites visitors to hover and explore. That way, it matches the cheerful, comfortable space promised in the text beneath. It's a small touch, but it makes the site memorable.

Packages that are easy to compare

A dedicated packages page lists seven options. They range from daily, weekly and monthly private offices to event spaces and a discussion room. For each one, an arch-framed photo sits beside the essentials: capacity, price and floor level. Enquire and Package Info buttons then follow underneath. Meanwhile, a slim vertical menu on the left keeps Home, About, Packages, Events and Contact one click away.

Urban Space hasn't released occupancy or enquiry figures linked to the site, so we don't cite any.

Our web design Penang team developed the site. That included the hover interactions and the package selector. Our UI UX design Malaysia designers also turned the logo into a full interface and kept the booking path short.
