Rasa Malaysia Social Media Content That Makes Every Recipe Look Irresistible

Rasa Malaysia shares the love of Malaysian cuisine through digital media. It is a US-based cooking blog with a simple promise: mouth-watering Malaysian dishes are easy to cook, wherever you live. On social media, however, that promise has to land in a single glance at a phone screen.

So Spacebar's role covered digital marketing, social media content and video production. The aim was a feed that makes people hungry, and then sends them to the full recipe.

A feed built around the food

Every grid tile is a tight, well-lit close-up. You can see noodles tossed with greens, a stew topped with an egg, fluffy steamed buns and golden potato wedges. Because the dishes fill the frame, the grid reads like a menu rather than a scrapbook.

A profile that is easy to explore

The Instagram profile keeps its bio short and points straight to the blog. Below it, round pink story highlights group content into Cookbooks, Travel and Recipes. As a result, a new follower can find what interests them without scrolling for ages.

Captions and video that convert interest

Each post opens with the dish name, such as Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges. A short, tempting description then follows. Several tiles also carry the reel icon. Alongside the still images, our team directed, shot and edited short point-of-view cooking videos. These suit how people watch recipes on their phones.
